Program Overview:

  • Robotics Workshop:
    • Objective: Gain a solid understanding of the fundamentals of robotics and build essential skills for future STEM careers.

  • Math Workshop:
    • Objective: Develop a strong foundation in mathematics with a focus on real-life problem-solving.
    • Curriculum Highlights: Equation analysis, variable manipulation, and exploration of linear inequalities.
    • Benefits: Enhance critical thinking skills, apply mathematical concepts to practical scenarios.

Eligibility:

  • Age Group: Individuals over the age of 12 or those with a basic understanding of robotics and mathematics.
  • Assessment: All applicants must undergo a short assessment test to determine their placement and ensure tailored learning experiences.
  • Session Options: Participants can choose either the Math or Robotics workshop or opt for both.

What are the requirements to participate

All applicants must be:

  • 12 years old or older or at a ninth grade level of math/science/robotics
  • interested in STEM and Robotics
What does my child need to do to sign up?

When the program is open, all applicants must:

  • Complete the registration form
  • Complete the assessment
  • Sign all consent and additional documents
Do I have to pay for my child to participate?

No! This program is completely free of charge!

How are the Tutoring Services conducted?

Tutoring sessions are in-person and and Google Hangouts.

What should my child bring?

Your child should bring or have access to a smartphone/tablet, charger, optional face masks and a can-do attitude!

Am I required to attend with my child?

For the math workshop, guardians are not required to attend but for the robotics workshop, guardians are asked to make an appearance.
