It is well-known that autistic children, children from lower-income households and children who are Indigenous and People of Color (BIPOC) disproportionately experience poor health and limited access to health care. In response, the BELL Organization collaborated with MARS, various organizations such as Fidelis Care, MetroPlus Health, McDonalds, Special Olympic New York and elected officials the like of Assemblywoman Chantel Jackson and Senators Luis Sepulveda and Jose M. Serrano to provide resources and a fun day for children with ASD and their families.
