Donating toys teaches kids important values, such as kindness, generosity, and gratitude. It also reinforces positive behavior by encouraging children to think outside themselves and consider those who are less fortunate. We partnered with House of SpeakEasy, Macys, Morrisania Air Rights Resident Association, Verizon and elected officials such Assembly member Chantel Jackson, Borough President Vanessa Gibson, Congressman Ritchie Torres, Council member Althea Stevens and Senator Jose Serrano to host a Winter Wonderland Family Day Celebration on 12/14/2024 at the BronxWorks Melrose Classic Community Center, promoting and teaching children the valuable lessons during the season of giving.
