College Choice has provided the opportunity for young adults in the foster care system to pursue their goals and dreams, with sound and sustained support. New York City Mayor Eric Adams and New York City Administration for Children’s Services (ACS) Commissioner Jess Dannhauser announced “College Choice,” as a program that will provide college students in foster care with greater support systems, including financial support, so they can attend the college of their dreams. BELL Organization would like to acknowledge one of our students by the name of Sanjida Afruz, a College Choice participant at the City College of New York for her continued great works and her expressing the need to the Mayor of New York for more programs assisting the youths at City Hall.
